Membership Criteria

Our membership is designed for dedicated individuals and organizations committed to excellence in the energy sector.

 

Whether you are an experienced professional or a reputable company, joining our network allows you to connect with leaders in the field and support the growth of the industry.

Individual Member

To qualify for registration as an individual member of CPI, the applicant must as a minimum, possess a university degree or equivalent, and possess more than seven years experience in reputable oil and gas-related company (If an academic or consultant, he/she must in the last three years have actively researched or consulted on petroleum business related matters). Membership of an existing registered professional body is an advantage. A member of CPI must support applications for membership.

Corporate Member

To qualify for registration, the company or organisation must be reputable, engaged in substantial energy-related activities, must be willing to make two pages of corporate insertion on the CPI website, sponsor at least one major activity or donate substantial equipment or resources to CPI each year. Corporate members are entitled to nominate two representatives.
