Who We Are
The Centre for Petroleum Information (CPI) is one of Nigeria’s leading Energy Industry Think-Tanks. It was established to pool expert knowledge and share value-adding information for the benefit of its members, industry and the public.
CPI is a non-profit organization focused on energy: oil, gas and power. Registered in Nigeria on December 12, 2000 as an association “limited by guarantee,” CPI is committed to its vision: "Creating value through knowledge and network."
In the last 22 years, CPI has lived its vision keeping members informed about major developments and opportunities in both the Nigerian and global industries.
It publishes its bi-monthly journal, Petroleum Business Digest, which has proved a reliable source of authoritative commentaries, business intelligence and incisive analysis. More recently to mark its 20th anniversary, CPI published the 440-page industry reference work, Energy Insight NIGERIA

Who We Are
The Centre for Petroleum Information (CPI) is Nigeria’s foremost energy industry think-tank registered on December 12, 2000, as an association limited by guarantee. CPI plays a critical role in bridging the gap between research, industry practice, and policymaking.
For over 25 years, the group has pooled expert knowledge to help navigate complex policies, such as the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA). It has a Multidisciplinary Network of members bringing together more than 1,500 experienced professionals, including specialists from fields like engineering, law, finance, marketing, and administration.
